Al Dana for Girls launches Manara Initiative
Al Dana Girls Center is participating in the Kathara Arabic Novel Festival 2024 during the period from October 13-20 in Kathara Hall, with the aim of promoting the values of sustainability, learning and discovery. The center is showcasing its initiative “Manara”, a nickname for the light that guides others, by recycling various books selected from the center’s library. These books are displayed in the Al Dana Center’s special display corner, and the displayed books will be available for visitors to view throughout the festival. Through this initiative, they emphasize the importance of reading and learning, and the importance of reproducing knowledge and using available resources instead of disposing of them. Al Dana’s participation comes within the framework of introducing festival-goers to the importance of the role of youth centers in society. It is worth noting that Al Dana Center is represented in the festival by a team of female members and volunteers participating in the festival’s organizational work, emphasizing the role of individuals in social responsibility through innovative and effective volunteer work
